The payment of registration fees (player or team based), is your commitment to participate in a basketball program for the season. Once payment is made, a refund for change of mind, team selection, dislike of the coach or training time (or venue) allocated, will not be accepted.
Refunds may be issued if a player cannot be allocated to a team. Refunds of this nature, will be net of any processing fees charged by our registration systems (eg PlayHQ, SportsTG etc).
Participants who have paid game fees upfront, will not be eligible for any game fee refund if they are unavailable to play, the team is allocated a BYE or gives/receives a walkover in any round. Any team who gives a walkover, will need to pay the appropriate walkover penalty designated by the program or competition.
If a player is injured and cannot participate for the rest of the season, then a medical certificate (stating the timeframe you are unable to participate in basketball) must be submitted to the appropriate program coordinator. Your request will be reviewed and a refund or pro rata refund (minus a $20 admin fee) may be issued.
All requests for a refund, should be submitted to the appropriate program coordinator and may be reviewed by the Executive committee before an outcome is communicated.
